unusual just to fall under your profession for me I really wanted to be a lawyer from the time I was about seven years old however at the time that I went to UNI there were so many attorneys that the unemployment rate with law was so high that you needed to do a double degree um so that was sort of five years of a double degree plus an additional year of law school and then 3 years practicing as a lawyer and I thought oh that sort of sounds like an additional 10 years so I actually went and ended up studying company at UTS so um similar to a Commerce degree um but throughout uni I um I worked at an Italian restaurant and then I tried to open an Italian restaurant and to do that um I needed to take out a loan with a NAB and actually I required to repay that loan when it didn’t work out so um I I saw an advertisement in the paper and it stated do you want to be a stock broker and I believed oh yeah that sounds respectable yeah we’ll give it a go we’re here we go and um you understand I was lucky in that sense because I I do enjoy the work I love having the ability to understand businesses and to operate in a market where you’re continuously having the ability to keep up to date with what’s happening in the world what’s happening in regards to improvements in innovation or biotechnology and science I believe is an amazing thing so I enjoy to read it and I never have a lack of stories to check out when it pertains to the markets yeah terrific and in between transition from oh I might want to be a stock broker how did you become state inequities investment strategist how did that happen um was there.
